Filou (born 2006)

Filou born in Zoo Duisburg is one of our younger harbour seals. He was introduced to our group when he was only a few months old. He is a very trusting seal who needs a lot of attentiveness. If necessary, he will vocalize persistently to get one's attention. Furthermore, he displays a keen perception and great work ethics. In his scientific career Filou has succeeded in hydrodynamic experiments. At the moment he is part of an experiment regarding spatial orientation.
