As our animals are predators, we regret that we must exclude pregnant women from this activity. People with cold symptoms are not permitted to take part, in order to protect our animals and staff. Due to the layout of the premises, this activity is unfortunately not accessible to people with mobility impairments!
Please understand that, for safety reasons, we are unfortunately unable to make any exceptions regarding the maximum number of participants or the minimum age requirement.

Monday: 2.00 pm
During our ‘Live Research’ experience, you will accompany one of our researchers into the animal enclosure, where you will become part of the research by assisting them in conducting a scientific experiment involving a seal. One participant will always take the active role, whilst the others observe the experiment. Please note that this involves the re-enactment of an experiment that has already been completed.
You’ll also get an exclusive ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at an experiment currently underway.
You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 10 days before the date. For cancellations made later than this, 50% of the price will be charged; for cancellations made one day or less before the date, 100% of the price will be charged.
