Visits during opening hours

From the visitor deck of the research vessel, as a guest of the Marine Science Center, you can observe the scientific work and the daily training sessions with the seals. During opening hours, staff are always on deck to provide information about our work and our animals, and to answer your questions. We recommend that larger groups visit us at the top of the hour where possible (without prior booking), as we do not offer separate guided tours. As we work with the animals throughout the day, we do not have fixed feeding times.

Unlike the upper visitor deck, which is only accessible via stairs, our lower viewing platform is wheelchair-accessible.

Please note that dogs are not permitted and eating on board is not allowed. Please check this page for any last-minute changes.
