WPM 12 Marine mammal research/Bioacoustics

The scientific questions and methods of marine mammal research will be introduced theoretically (lecture, seminar) and will be worked on practically (excercise course). After completion of the module the participants will possess broad knowledge about marine mammal biology and will be able to assist in non-invasive behavioural experiments covering sensory and cognitive aspects.
